FEDERAL JACK'S HITS THE SPOT AT THE CHILI CHOWDER CHALLENGE

KENNEBUNK, MAINE (February 11, 2008) - On Sunday, February 10th, Federal Jack's Restaurant and Brew Pub won three awards at the People's Regional Opportunity Programs' 15th Annual Great Chili and Chowder Challenge held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland.

Federal Jack's competed against the state's best to win:

- Peoples Choice: 1st place -- Chili
- Judges Choice: 3rd place -- Chili
- Judges Choice: 2nd place -- Chowder

"We were thrilled to win these awards for our chili and chowder," remarked Adam Clingensmith, co-sous-chef at Federal Jack's. "It was a great tip of the hat to our staff to have Federal Jack's recognized among the state's best in this competition."

This annual event raises funds for People's Opportunity Programs' Foster Grandparent Program.

Federal Jack's Restaurant and Brew Pub celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2007.
